Here's a quick set-up for WxPort. This software is part of WxMesg available at www.wxmesg.com NOTE: This quick guide is for a TwinHan Visionplus card that has been install using VisionData driver. Under Control Panel Network (or network Connection depending on your windows version) you should have a DTVNet Ethernet Controller. This is your TwanHan Card ![]() Enter properties by double click on it's name and click on the property button You should now see this screen: ![]() double click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) You should now see this screen: ![]() You need to change "Obtain IP address automatically" to "Use the following IP address" Enter any IP address from 10.0.5.1-10.0.5.254 except 10.0.5.53, remember this number. Subnet mask should be 255.255.255.0 Click OK to accept the setting and close all windows. Now we can go load WxPort. Depending on what you want to decode you must tell WxPort what Data Source to use. Go into the setup under the file menu. You should now see this screen: ![]() Under Interface Address you must type the address that was configure on your TwanHan Card. In my case is 10.0.5.1 Multicast Address and Multicast port is where you tell WxPort what port to Listen. Port combinations are:
Once you choose which port to decode you can save your settings and if all is well you should see the following: ![]() You should see Sequence Number, Received File and Last file been updated as new data is decoded. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
